Melissa Short

Melissa Short began working with Dr. Farrell at Overland Park Orthopedics in 2015. She is a graduate of Wichita State University’s physician assistant program and received her undergraduate degree in Public Health Nutrition from Kansas State University. She offers her patients a well-rounded clinical background with experience in family practice, urgent care, geriatrics, and surgical care. She is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants and the Kansas Academy of Physician Assistants as well as Pi Alpha honor society for PAs. Melissa assists in surgery, sees patients in the hospital, and helps things run smoothly in clinic. She also schedules surgeries and is a great resource for questions about your surgery, hospital stay, and recovery.
